Sight Tech Global Code of Conduct
By registering for any Sight Tech Global event you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, which appears at the bottom of this document. Violations of this policy will result in ejection from the event and revoking of credentials without reimbursement.
Attendees Who Are Minors Policy
Attendees who are minors (persons younger than 18 years old) must be accompanied at all times by an adult who is 18 years or older and who can take legal responsibility for the minor.
Some event content may contain mature themes that may not be suitable for minors. Adult chaperones are responsible for managing and reviewing content/themes to see if it is suitable for their accompanied minors before, during, and/or after the event.
Marketing Emails & Sponsor Communications
By registering for this event, you agree that Sight Tech Global may contact you via email with information about future Sight Tech Global events, other Sight Tech Global products and services and sponsor promotions. If you decide you no longer wish to receive such communications, you may OPT OUT at any time from those emails by contacting Info@SightTechGlobal.com or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of emails sent to you by our partner, Mail Chimp.
Collection and Use of Attendee Data
By registering for a Sight Tech Global event, you are expressly consenting to provide your registration and event-attendance data to Sight Tech Global sponsors. The attendee data shared will be used in accordance with each sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Event registrants may request that Sight Tech Global not share and / or delete their data from Sight Tech Global systems by making a written request to Info@SightTechGlobal.com.
Photo/Video Policy
By registering for this event and entering the event area, you expressly give your consent to Sight Tech Global and its affiliates, including the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the perpetual right and permission to copyright and use recordings (including live streaming) and photographic portraits or pictures of you, without compensation, wholly intact or in part, through any and all media now or hereafter known or invented, for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose and you release Sight Tech Global its affiliates, successors, assigns and licensees from any liability whatsoever of any nature in regard thereto.
Sight Tech Global Code of Conduct
Sight Tech Global will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to:
- Inappropriate physical or virtual contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
- Display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces
- Deliberate verbal or physical intimidation
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors
Because of the following but not limited to:
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Gender identity and expression
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Physical appearance
- Body size
- Age
- Religion
As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At Sight Tech Global’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from the virtual venue immediately without a refund and barred from future Sight Tech Global events.

We base the Sight Tech Global Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity and respect. These guidelines are necessary to ensure that everyone can safely enjoy Sight Tech Global events. By purchasing a ticket to, working for, vending at or sponsoring any Sight Tech Global event, conference and conference-related social event, you agree to the policies set forth above.
